  These large olive root slices come from olive tree roots collected in the Iznik region of Turkey. Olive root wood is known for dramatic burl formations, dense hardwood structure and naturally unique shapes.
  
  Traditional saw blades are not suitable for olive roots because natural cavities may contain stones and soil. For this reason, each root is cut using a specialized diamond wire saw system.
  
  Before cutting, each root is thoroughly cleaned with high-pressure washing machines to remove stones, soil and bark. This leaves the edges clean, smooth and naturally shaped. Each slice is then slowly cut with a diamond wire saw, washed again, kiln dried, CNC surfaced and carefully sanded smooth.

  Structural Note
  
  Olive root slices may contain natural tension and fragile areas due to their irregular root structure. This is normal for this material.
  
  For professional epoxy table makers, this is usually not a problem. In many projects, the slices are intentionally broken or separated, then reassembled before the epoxy pour. This helps reduce internal tension and supports a more stable final table.
  
  For epoxy work, the important point is receiving all parts completely and correctly. If the slab will be used without epoxy, or if a stronger one-piece structure is preferred, metal reinforcement can be added on request.
  
  These large olive root slices are commonly used for epoxy resin tables, river tables, coffee tables, wall decor, woodworking projects and custom furniture.
